Dr. Abir Kumar Gorai is an accomplished academic and administrator currently serving as the Controller of Examinations (i/c) at Techno India University, Tripura. Born in Purulia, West Bengal, and educated in Kolkata. He has completed his Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta. Dr. Gorai is deeply involved in both administrative and academic roles, including the preparation of Course Structures and Rules & Regulations for various programs. He is a renowned scholar in the field of Socio-Economic Research.His research interests span from prehistoric times to the early medieval period, focusing on archaeology and socio-cultural studies. He has extensive experience in research, teaching, and curatorial work, having held positions at prestigious institutions like the Indian Museum, Kolkata, and the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies. Dr. Gorai is also actively engaged in organizing cultural programs and has contributed significantly to the academic and cultural landscape through his publications and conference presentations.
