Dr. Rajat Nath is a distinguished researcher in the field of Life Sciences, with his research interest primarily focused on Cancer Biology, Phytochemistry and Bioinformatics. He has done Ph.D. from the Department of Life Sciences and Bioinformatics, Assam University Silchar. His doctoral research was focused on "Identification and validation of potential anticancer compounds from selected medicinal plants". He has done B.Sc. in Zoology from Cachar College, Silchar and M.Sc. in Life Science (Zoology with specialization in Biochemistry) from Assam University, Silchar. He has also PG diploma degree in Bioinformatics from the same department and qualified GATE (Life Science) examination. Dr. Nath has worked as a Research Scientist at Assam University, Silchar and was also awarded the prestigious DBT Research Associate fellowship at Pondicherry University. He has made significant contributions to the field with 14 publications in international journals and 24 chapters in book till date.
