Mr. Abhijit Bhattacharjee is an Assistant Professsor of English at TIUT with expertise in English literature, communications, and soft skills. He has innovated a listener-centric teaching strategy using a multi-sensory-channel method and has published both creative and academic works. With over six years of teaching experience, Mr. Bhattacharjee has taught at Techno India University, Tripura, Tripura University, College of Fisheries (Central Agricultural University), ICFAI University, Triumphant Institute of Management Studies (TIME), Hyderabad, and Army Public School. At Techno India University, Tripura (TIUT), Mr. Bhattacharjee teaches literature, soft skills, and communicative English. He also offers a film studies course under the Multidisciplinary Course (MDC) program. Mr. Bhattacharjee is a NET and SLET qualified Ph.D. student at Tripura University, where he also completed his M.A. in English with first-class honors, receiving a gold medal for ranking first in his class. He also stood first in his BA English (Hons) which he pursued from Holy Cross College under Tripura University. His research focuses on the experience of mysticism in Henry Miller's semi-autobiographical fiction, and he has a strong interest in the intersections of philosophy and literature. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is an avid cyclist.
